Specifically for high school athletes looking to pursue higher education, whether that be through a private university or vocational technology program, Compete & Connect events are a valuable resource for students, parents, and coaches to become educated on the many paths an individual can take, and all the steps a family can take to set their student-athlete up for success.

Peter and Milton Gooding, the Foundation's college recruiting experts, will travel to the different events to host larger informational sessions and answer individual questions so that student-athletes are as prepared as possible for the next steps in their career.

 

Peter is a United Soccer Coaches' Hall of Fame member and the former Athletic Director and Head Coach of Men's Soccer for Amherst College. Milton has also had extensive collegiate coaching experience at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Kenyon College, and Amherst College. In addition to their combined time in collegiate athletics, Milton built and runs a successful college placement company, serving families from across the country with educational and athletic consulting.
